Diamond Field is Andy Diamond (Instruments) and Jenny Bates (vocals).

Based in New York City, Diamond Field channel their favorite sounds of the ’80s into new music for the 21st Century.

In 2014 the debut Diamond Field single “Neon Summer” burst onto the burgeoning synthwave scene.
Synthetix FM voted “Neon Summer” as one of the Top 10 Synthpop songs of 2014 and the rest is history.

Diamond Field bring an infectious 1980s musical energy with original music inspired by New Order to OMD, Toto to Michael Sembello, Pat Benatar to Heart. There are generous helpings of sparkling synths, chiming electric guitars, big drums and stacks of vocals to carry you through all your neon summer days and nights.

The debut self-titled Diamond Field album was released in 2021 and features guest vocals from Nina Luna, Matthew J. Ruys, Miriam Clancy, Nik Brinkman, Cody Carpenter, Becca Starr, Belinda Bradley, Chelsea Nenni and Kyle Brauch along with appearances from The Saxophone Warrior and guitarist Rodger Cunningham.

In 2022 Jenny Bates joined Diamond Field as lead vocalist.

In addition to “Neon Summer” (feat.Nina Yasmineh aka NINA LUNA), Diamond Field has released a number of “maxi-singles” – “This City” (with Matthew Ruys), “Closer” (with Rat Rios) and “Won't Compromise” (with Bob Haro). Recent releases with Jenny Bates include a cover of New Order’s “Temptation” and an original single “Belinda” (also featuring Nathan Haines on sax).

The track ”Freedom Pass” by Diamond Field and Dana Jean Phoenix featured on the 2019 compilation “Vehlinggo Presents 5 Years” (alongside The Midnight, Anoraak and Le Matos). Diamond Field features on Retro Promenade's “Next Peak” Twin Peaks tribute series and a compilation for Aztec Records.
